Seeing the ominous weather predictions, we wondered if we would be able to drive to Madonna House in Combermere, Ontario. Our new friends here in Ottawa said the road to Madonna House can get snowed over.

We started the day by praying in front of the seat of Canadian government in Ottawa. This was very much in line with what Archbishop Prendergast had suggested the previous day at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, namely, that Catholics should be unafraid to give witness to the faith and the sanctity of life. The morning was especially cold, even for Canadians.

The oldest Polish parish in Montreal dedicated to Our Lady of Czestochowa prepared itself for the welcoming of the pilgrim "From Ocean to Ocean" Czestochowa Icon with perpetual rosary - Jericho. Prayer, lasting seven days and nights, began on March 10. Posters ware prepared and information in English, French and Polish, because to this church people of different nationalities come.

After arrival at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary in Toledo, Ohio the icon was placed at the center of this magnificent cathedral. The cathedral is made of Massachusetts granite and Indiana limestone. The dimensions of the church are 285 ft long by 215 ft wide. The roof is topped by many tiles of different colors including bold oranges, purple-blues, greens and more.
A rare winter storm hit Charleston, South Carolina beginning on January 28, 2014. Unfortunately, that meant that many of the events that were planned for Charleston were cancelled. When the storm hit, roads and bridges were closed because of icy conditions and downed power lines.
